The good thing about playing the same games system for a number of weeks is that it encourages you to get 'new' stuff.
This week wham bang new toy on the table - a big one as well
And sometimes, someone will turn up with a completely new army, but in the mean time each week another figure or two appears painted.
Whilst the modelling factories are in full swing wound markers are being piloted
Note the skulls on the spikes, there will be different colours for single 5 wounds and 10 wounds.
Above battle lines in the centre are closing in whilst over the building and to the right that flank is exchanging punches galore but the other flank could not with stand the bombardment of 3 heavy mortars and a thunderous charge or two.
Unit of the week - came though against over whelming odds
Something evil this way comes..........
and next week they're could be pictures of waiver tokens

Alas tonight was affected by an outbreak of Avian or Man Flu.
But that did not stop us having a go at slugging it out on the table - just had to proxy in some models before they got fully glued together to fill out for the absent Elves. Aim was to have more of your army on their half of the table than they have on yours. A cunning plan was needed but it was missing in action.
First "take that" counter charge
Then note the evil chuckle as the dice are being warmed up and we got some new buildings to
One of those if our charge does not clear away the enemy we don't get a second change moments
Tactical note: we are fighting bigger battles, you will need to have reserves in a second line to plug gaps and mop up, break though as well as flanks being turned and flyers. Both sides had a shortage of missile armed troops - the recruiting sargents have been sent out

A big Kings of War game took place but would have been bigger if someone brought more troops).
Light was very good in the room, unlike some places I have been lately. Staff are very friendly as well. Parking is close by to.
We aim to be playing this for a bit to give players chance to expand their forces as we learn the rules and what units work well against what. The painters are not rushed to paint up but can make steady progress. Things will get more colourful as the weeks go by.
he is a close up
and now some unit on unit action
to be continued next week

We are settling into the new venue and TonyB commented
"Really like the new venue. Room is a decent size, well lit and staff
onsite are very friendly. Very nice choice and a bargain at the price!"
Next week it looks like a 4 way -- unless more generals attend - game of Kings of War.
Photos from this week will be upload by our chairman shortly.
